It's a melting pot of different martial arts, for a system of sport and self-defence, rather than for demonstration purposes, if the latter is your definition of a martial art.

The concept of the original martial arts is purely, and simply disciplinary - in the sense that the main goal is to have absolute control over ones mind, body and soul.
It has nothing to do with fighting. The aspects of fighting martial arts can be transfered in visual arts, musical arts, or any other expresive form.
